Welcome to the TriUtah Wasatch ½ marathon and 10k!
We are really excited to introduce this wonderful course to the TriUtah race calendar. In our 2nd running, this event is sure to become a Utah favorite!
With this event starting and ending near the Soldier Hollow Nordic Center there will be no shortage of breathtaking scenery.Plus, this out and back course provides no need for shuttles at this event as you’ll be able sleep in a little longer and park and the start/finish line.
Both distances will start at the Soldier Hollow Group Pavilion located in the beautiful town of Midway and Wasatch State Park. As you exit the start chute you will run north along the foothills and farmlands of Midway, passing the historic Homestead Resort and crater. Runners with then turn around at the half way mark of your respective distance and return to the finish-line. Don't be surprised if you see the occasional deer, porcupines, raccoons and there creatures out and about on race morning. The past portion of the run is slightly uphill, but from what we've experienced, having the Wasatch Mountain Range in your view the entire run makes it all worth it!
The course will be clearly marked with volunteers, A-frame signs, and markings in the road.
Note: Due to road construction and an event in Midway, we were asked to reschedule the race. It is now (for this year only) on the same day as the Woman of Steel Running Relay. This event will be starting 90 minutes before our event, and will end several hours after. We are excited to host both events and promise a smooth racing day!
BE SURE TO REVIEW THIS SECTION FREQUENTLY BEFORE THE RACE AS WE UPDATE IT PERIODICALLY!

NEW THIS YEAR... Even though we are at the tail end of the pandemic, and with cases surging here and there, we have been asked by the Wasatch and Summit County Health Departments to adhere to specific guidelines.
-All aid stations will be equipped with water, Base Nutrition electrolyte replacement drinks, Base Nutrition gels, and other endurance treats.
HOWEVER, volunteers are not able to hand you your drinks and nutrition. Runners must pick up their own cups on the tables.
Aid stations will be approximately every other mile beginning at mile 2.
There are portable toilets near the starting line, and on the course at or near each aid station.
A detailed map and point to point instructions can be found below!
The Wasatch Half & 10k races are not on closed courses, and are open to automobile traffic. PLEASE USE CAUTION while running. There will be signs, mile markers, arrows, volunteers, and police officers to assist you in staying on course. HOWEVER, it your responsibility to know the course. We encourage you to drive or bike or jog the course in advance to familiarize yourself with the course and terrain.
Headphones are not recommended, but hey, we understand some enjoy listening to music while running. Please keep volumes down so that you can hear volunteers , officials, and oncoming traffic.
Finish line activities will include awards ceremony, post race food and drinks, raffle, massage, and medical assistance. Only race participants are allowed in the finish-line area.
Because of the recent pandemic, all food and drinks are self serve. All food will be pre-packaged chips, cookies, etc.
